Limited exemptions based on value and origin

There are limited exemptions within the covered sectors. For example, there's a de minimis exemption for consignments where the total intrinsic value of the CBAM goods does not exceed €150. Additionally, goods originating from countries that participate in the EU ETS or have linked systems (like EEA countries and Switzerland) are exempt from CBAM to avoid double carbon pricing.
