      Compare to previous year

      You can now quickly visualise and understand the change in your emissions over time. 

      1. Go to Analyse
      2. Select a date range < 1 year long in the date selector
      3. Click on “Compare to past”, then “Previous year”Screenshot 2023-02-10 at 17.45.32
      4. The dashboard will update to compare the period you selected to the same period of time one year back.
        1. For example, if you selected 01 Jan 2021 - 31 Mar 2021, it will compare it with 01 Jan 2020 - 31 Mar 2020.
        2. If you selected 01 Dec 2021 - 01 Feb 2022, it will compare it with 01 Dec 2020 - 01 Feb 2021.
      5. The number charts will update to show you the total emissions for the current period, with % and absolute change compared to the previous period. Screenshot 2023-02-10 at 17.46.57
      6. The other charts will update to show you emissions for both periods. If you hover over them, you will be able to see the change across the two periods. Screenshot 2023-02-10 at 17.44.12

      Note: you can only select a date range where there is data for the full previous year’s date range. This is to ensure you select a fair comparison.
