What is the "reporting period" and why is it important?

The reporting period is simply the start and end dates for the data you're providing. For example, if you're reporting on the whole of 2023, your start date would be January 1, 2023, and your end date would be December 31, 2023.  Remember that in the transitional phase, you are reporting quarterly data. 

It's crucial that all the information you provide in the template - like emissions data and production numbers - matches this same time period. This ensures consistency in your report.
