Uploading existing CCF data
If you’ve already calculated a Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) using another method or tool, you can upload that data to Green Project.
Introduction
If you’ve already calculated a Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) using another method or tool, you can upload that data to Green Project. This centralizes your carbon numbers and speeds up data-sharing with customers.
Step-by-Step Guide
-
Go to Corporate Carbon Footprint
- Click Profile > Corporate Carbon Footprint.
-
Enter Your Reporting Year
- Provide the end date of your latest financial year to unlock the Emissions tile.
-
Choose “Add Your Data”
- A side panel will appear, prompting you to describe the scopes you’ve calculated.
-
Upload Documentation
- Attach files (reports, spreadsheets) showing your raw numbers so Green Project can cross-check what you input.
- Ideally, include a methodology report explaining how you arrived at those emissions (e.g., which emission factors you used). This helps Green Project verify completeness and accuracy.
-
Enter Emissions by Category
- Break down your Scope 1, Scope 2, and (if available) Scope 3 emissions by the categories you used in your calculations.
-
Submit for Review
- Click Submit. Green Project checks if your data aligns with the supporting documentation.
- You’ll be notified if anything seems off.
Conclusion
That’s it! You’ve uploaded your existing corporate emissions data and supporting files so Green Project can confirm their accuracy. Once approved, you can share these results with customers—no extra calculations required.
