Funnel stages explained
- Not Engaged
- The system could not deliver an email to any contact, often because the email bounced or is invalid.
- Adding or updating contacts is critical here to enable future engagement.
- Engaged
- An email was successfully delivered to at least one contact.
- The supplier is now aware of the request but may not have responded yet.
- Opted Out
- The supplier has indicated they’re unwilling or unable to respond.
- Consider following up with alternate contacts or exploring other avenues to secure the data.
- Responded
- The supplier has actively replied to at least one message.
- At this stage, there’s a back-and-forth conversation in progress.
- Registered
- The supplier has claimed their Emitwise profile.
- They are now poised to submit data.
- Submitted
- The supplier has submitted at least some of the requested data (e.g., emissions data).
- Depending on your campaign goals, you may still need to nudge for additional data to be submitted.
- Data Quality Checks
- The data provided has entered our quality-checking process.
- If data fails quality checks, the supplier may need to correct or resubmit their information.
Table columns explained
-
Current Engagement Stage
Shows where the supplier is in the engagement process (e.g., Not Engaged, Engaged, Opted Out, Registered, Submitted).
-
Days at Current Stage
Indicates how many days the supplier has been in their present stage. A high number here may signal that it’s time to follow up.
-
Submission
Provides a quick view of whether the supplier has submitted any relevant data, and if so, which type of data.
-
Last Message
Shows the date of the most recent email or communication the system sent to the supplier.
-
Contacts
Lists how many contacts you have on file for that supplier. If this is zero or low, adding more contacts may improve engagement.
-
Point of contact status
Indicates whether there is at least one verified or responsive contact for the supplier. If no contact is confirmed, the supplier is less likely to respond.
-
Recommended Action
Suggests an action (e.g., “Add New Contacts,” “Nudge Supplier”) that can help move the supplier to the next stage.
-
Owners
Displays the person or people in your organization responsible for managing this supplier’s engagement. Owners receive relevant notifications and updates.
-
Custom Fields
Any extra fields unique to your organization’s setup (e.g., Region, Category, Tier). These can be used for filtering or reporting.
Common Issues/Tips
- Bounced Emails: If a supplier is labeled “Not Engaged,” it may mean emails are bouncing. Updating contacts can help.
- Filter By Campaign: Forgetting to switch campaigns can cause confusion about which suppliers you’re reviewing.
