Using the spend data that you provide, we will calculate a scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions baseline for your company, following the method outlined here. You can view your emissions profile, compare your emissions to others in your industry, report your emissions to stakeholders, and much more (see here).
We will also use your data to calculate a supplier-specific emission factor that your customer will use in their own spend-based GHG emissions calculations. This emission factor will be calculated by dividing your total company emissions by your total annual revenue for the reporting period, representing the kilograms of GHG emissions per dollar your customer spends on goods and services your company provides. This emission factor enables them to more accurately estimate the GHG emissions from the goods and services that they purchase from you.
